Facebook Poor in Customer Satisfaction:Survey
They may be the most popular social networking site but they do fall short when it comes to customer satisfaction. In the 2010 American Customer Survey Index conducted by ForeSee Results gave Facebook a 64 on a scale of 100 in customer satisfaction. The number is lower than any other popular site but facebook can heave a sigh of relief as My Space gets a point less. Facebook also lags behind the major news websites like FOXNews.com at 82. MSNBC.com and CNN.com halting at 74 and 73 respectively.
The reasons for the poor rating is said to be the privacy options, continuous change in the website and commercialization and bombardment of advertisements on the site.
While others in the fore did better but still their performance in terms of customer satisfaction has observed a downward slope.
Google bagged 80 points for itself but a 7 pointer downfall from previous survey.Twitter was surely missed by all as they were excluded because of its third party application making it difficult to ascertain peoples perception.
Even with the low digits and insatiable feeling, users continue to show their loyalty towards facebook. But why is it? Maybe there isn’t any other network as strong as facebook and who would want to loose the built network? The option of ousting facebook was earlier seen in May 31 . People did not quit facebook and thus making the movement a failure. Facebook has made a place for itself and indeed would stay for long.
